Hi, I'm Kristin Howard, an LA native who loves traveling, music, yoga, photography, dancing, and hiking.  I began my journey towards becoming a therapist 16 years ago.  I've had previous experience working for a suicide hotline, doing my traineeship at a high school, working with children, adolescents, and adults in community mental health, working with emerging adult population at private universities, and for a group private practice.  I've had the opportunity to work with individuals dealing with relationship issues, trauma, life transition, grief and loss, anxiety, depression, and identity/cultural concerns.  What I love most about being a therapist is having the privilege to connect with some of the most incredible human beings and provide them a safe space to process any life challenges they're dealing with.  My specialty is providing therapy through a Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Person-Centered framework.  It's important for me that the therapeutic process is collaborative, relaxed, and a space where my clients can get relief from all of the stressors of everyday life.  I look forward to helping you to Get Ur Happy Back!
